The Old Vic theatre is one of London’s finest, built all the way back in 1818. The theatre was actually damaged in the air raids of 1940 and reopened in 1951 when it became a listed building.
Hollywood superstar, Kevin Spacey was appointed an artistic director in 2003 and he has done a marvellous job of rejuvenating the theatre and attracting great talent to the venue.
