Also known as the Thames Cable Car this link across the River Thames opened for the Olympics in 2012. The cable cars link the Greenwich Peninsula (home to The O2) and the Royals Docks. Travelling over the River Thames you reach a height of 90 metres giving you a great bird’s eye view of London especially of Canary Wharf and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Nearest tube station: Royal Victoria DLR (north of the river) and North Greenwich (south of the river).
