As of 2013 the Spanish Grand Prix will be held in alternate years in Barcelona and Valencia. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is the track where the Grand Prix is held in Barcelona, and since opening in 1991 has seen hundreds of thousands of Formula One fans fill the stands each year.
