This urban parkland is where famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi let his imagination run wild. Opened in 1922, this impressive park is scattered with brightly coloured mosaics, stunning sculptures, giant lizards, a long ceramic bench and two Hansel-and-Gretel-like gatehouses at the entrance to the park. The spired house at the centre of the park is where Gaudi lived for the last 20 years of his life and contains furniture designed by him as well as other memorabilia.
This stunning park is a must when visiting Barcelona.
