St James' Park is the home ground of Newcastle United Football Club. Newcastle United FC are a premiership football team and are said to have some of the most loyal fans in the country. The club has had its ups and downs over the years but the fans have always remained behind them.
St James' Park has been home to the club since 1892 and has seen many top games and players compete at the stadium. It has a capacity of over 52,000 and boasts a central location just a short walk from Newcastle City centre and the train station.
As well as being home to football matches the stadium has also been used for concerts, film and TV and will be used during the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
