The Symphony Hall in Birmingham is an impressive building both inside and out. Opened in 1991 it is the home of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The venue can seat up to 2,262 people and is host to a wide range of events all year round.
The design of the interior of the hall is based on the Musikverein in Vienna and the acoustics are said to be some of the best in the world. As well as classical music the hall also has a varied programme of jazz, folk, rock, pop and stand-up comedy.
