Munich is a city famous for lots of different things
including art, fine-dining, shopping, and, of course, beer. Each year, Bavaria’s
capital puts on its famous Oktoberfest event, giving tourists the opportunity
to sample some of the greatest beer the country has to offer. Those same ales
can be enjoyed at top pubs like Hofbräukeller and
Augustiner-Keller. When the beer’s not flowing, locals are out in Munich’s
parks, or visiting cultural institutions such the BMW Museum and Alte
Pinakothek. There are many different ways to enjoy Munich by night, from a
concert at the Bavarian State Opera to a rave at the nightclub, Harry Klein. Must-see
landmarks include Nymphenburg Palace, Olympiapark and the Allianz Arena.
