• Location

  Scarborough does two things brilliantly: nature and beaches. It’s a rustic, pretty place, with lots of lush greenery to explore in the form Rouge Marsh and East Point Park - known for its bird sanctuary. The town has two beaches, both of which are commuting distance by car, and great for swimming. Bluffer’s Park has great nature trails, and Rouge Beach offers wonderful waterfront walks. Scarborough is also where you’ll find the exciting, Toronto Zoo, which boasts over 450 species of animals from around the world.

  Break up your trip with live performance or two at Theatre Scarborough or indulge in some local art the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre. Top Scarborough eateries include The Keg, and Mandarin Restaurant. Downtown Toronto is 30 minutes away by car, and definitely worth a visit if you’d like to get some shopping done or visit a couple of bars.
