One thing is for certain, you won’t be short of things to see and do in Chicago.
Major attractions & sightseeing
Chicago has so many attractions it would be hard to list them all here. But the highlights are the Millennium Park, with Cloud Gate – its famous mirrored beam-shaped sculpture, and the Navy Pier - one of America’s most visited attractions.
When to visit
Whatever time of the year you visit, Chicago will be beautiful. It’s really a matter of what you enjoy doing while you’re away.
June to August sees Chicago’s busiest season, with locals and visitors coming to the city to enjoy its lakeside position and abundance of activities and festivals during the summer.
April and May as well as September and October are the best times to visit, with warm and clear weather, but smaller crowds. If you don’t mind cold temperatures, from November to March you will find some really good deals due to the city’s famously cold winters.
