It is a tradition of over 900 years to decorate the Castle from the end of November, with magical displays of traditional wreaths and garlands for the festive period. The table in the State Dining Room is set for a seasonal feast and a six metre Christmas tree from Windsor Great Park will dominate St George's Hall. Family events and activities throughout the school holidays include; trails, a children's audio guide, storytelling, dressing up in historic costume and armour, and art and craft workshops. Getting to and around Windsor has been made stress-free with two railway stations; Windsor & Eton Central railway station has a shuttle service to Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside station provides a service to London Waterloo.
