A small suburb with a historic old village at the heart of it, Hampton is located in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It’s a popular commuter town for Central London with a direct line via Hampton Railway Station and is best known for the glorious open green spaces in Hampton Court. Among the Riveria’s stately residential islands lies Garrick’s Villa, grounds and Temple to Shakespeare, whose plays he performed so many of during his career. Now open to the public, the summerhouse cum shrine acts as a museum to the treasured playwright.
