Phoenix Park is a great location to travel to on your journey around Dublin, with one main attraction you’ll be sure to visit - Dublin Zoo. The zoo itself was established during 1830 and opened the following year. Known to many as the most popular attraction in Dublin, the zoo is a tremendous day out for all the family.

Ha’penny Bridge was built in 1816 over the River Liffey, made of iron and actually constructed in Shropshire. The name derives from turnstiles being built at either end to ensure that people pay the toll, which totalled the old half penny - and hence the name was born. Most people know it as the Liffey Bridge, which it has been called since 1922.
